I found a passion for woodturning at the age of 14 in shop class. My first turning was a segmented lamp which won first place in our school art show. Now. 3 decades later. I enjoy the art of woodturning even more. Woodturning is gaining more popularity as an art than as a craft. I think part of the reason for this is that every turning is one-of-a-kind. You can turn the same shape from the same tree, but each piece will always have a different beauty because of the grain variations within the tree. *Charter Member, Club Mentor & Former Vice President of Show-Me Woodturners in Jefferson County Missouri as a chapter of the AAW. *Member of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW). *Member of Woodturners of St. Louis. *Member of penturners org. *Turning Lessons: 1 , 2, & 3 Hours Sessons. |
